MCCOOK COMMUNITY COLLEGE SIGNS AREA STANDOUT

The McCook Community College Indians have received a commitment from Clay McNall of Loomis, NE. McNall a 6’0 guard averaged 14.3 points. 3.3 assists, 3 rebounds, and 3.5 steals for Steve Johnson at Loomis High School. McNall led the Wolves to a fourth place finish in the Nebraska D-2 State Tournament, and garnered 1st Team Fort Kearney All-Conference and 1st Team D-2 All-State honors this past season.

“Everything we did this year started with Clay,” commented Coach Johnson. “Offensively, whenever we needed a shot, we looked to Clay. He is really good at catching off the pass and has a very quick burst to the basket if you close out on him hard. He created so many problems for the opposition with his defense that at times, they really struggled to get into any flow against us.”

Coach Lenhart on the signing of McNall, “We are really excited to have Clay on board with us next year. His toughness and competitiveness that he brings to the table night in and night out will be a great addition to our team. Defensively he is physical and has the ability to guard at a high level, while on offense he can score in multiple ways. We are very proud to have Clay as part of our basketball family and look forward to working with him in the near future.”
